“ I believe in God, but mainly I think the important thing is to have a good conscience. Man was created to be perfect, still imperfect. I was always intrigued to see how ancient cultures, the Egyptian, for example, were able to create forms as perfect as the pyramids, and as nature itself has created forms as simple as an egg. All this taught me that man and nature could be in a perfect symbiosis. There is the top level of creation, but rather are part of a wonderful homogeneous chain, the chain of life. The artists, like Michelangelo and Salvador Dali, well represented the creation of perfect and its proximity to the Divine. This sculpture is a clear homage to these great artists, but especially to Dali, to whom I owe my initiation into the world of art and in memory of her birth a century ago.”
